15-Year-Old Speeding in a Yukon, Toting Pot
LEXINGTON PARK - 12/9/2007
At 4:43 p.m. Dec. 1, TFC T. Quade initiated a traffic stop on northbound Route 235, north of Hermanville Road in Lexington Park on a gold GMC Yukon for exceeding the posted speed limit.
During the course of the traffic stop, contact was made with the driver, who was a 15-year-old male.
The juvenile did not have a driver’s license and was placed under arrest. A search incident to arrest revealed that he was also in possession of a small bag of Marijuana.
He was transported to the Leonardtown Barracks where he was charged with possession of Marijuana and driving without a license. He was later released to his mother pending further action by Juvenile Service.
