People have clearances because they need them. He has no need for one anymore, as he is a proven liar and not going to be called for consultation on anything. So, even if it is for purely hate-filled purposes, there is no purpose in him having a clearance.

Or when he targeted conservative groups with the IRS, costing taxpayers millions of dollars in settlements and didn't fire the person responsible. Or, when he let Holder get American Border Patrol agent get killed after using taxpayer funds to buy guns to give to the Mexican Drug Cartel, then lied about it and no one was fired over that.

First of all, you don't (nor do I) even know the vast majority of these people who signed this letter. So, I can't make any assumptions about their politics or honorable service. I will say that, of those that served in the military, this is not behavior we expect from high ranking officers - vocally taking political sides. It's especially not becoming of an officer to take sides with someone who falsely accused a sitting president of treason. They should outright reject this sort of thing. Given that they have, I reject their premise. It dishonors their own service, and it dishonors the branch they served in. I am embarrassed that I might have served under any of them. Knowing that their command decisions might have been more motivated by politics than protecting this country, and honoring the elected people they served under. The president is the commander in chief of our military; and to have a bunch of self-serving former military officers take this stance against the commander in chief of our military is shameful. The people of this country decided that this is who they want as president and commander in chief. What these officers are doing is spitting in the faces of everyone that made that decision - and all for what? A stupid security clearance that someone doesn't even need.

That's crazy, insane. If our intelligence agency is not working for the President they are working against him and the whole agency needs to be overhauled for the good of the country.

Once the people elect the President if they feel they cannot work for him, they should resign.
If they work against him and seek his removal they do not belong in that agency.
Their job is to supply intelligence the President can use not spill their guts to media.
