What is the going rate for land rent?

I have a little over an acre of fenced in land and was wondering what the going rate and things i should know about renting the land out for a horse. And is there much call for that kind of thing in calvert county. Any help would be wonderful.

1 acre too small for 1 horse. will be eaten down in 48 hours and become a nice dirt paddock and mudd paddock in wet times of the year.
