What a dumb ass! The elderly in the United States have access to high quality health care because the people granted the U. S. Government authority to assume responsibility for providing seniors with health care and establish the popular socialistic program named Medicare.

Under the French heath care system, everyone has the same coverage. The elderly receive the same excellent care that everyone else in France enjoys.

To grasp how the French system works, think about Medicare for the elderly in the U.S., then expand that to encompass the entire population. French medicine is based on a widely held value that the healthy should pay for care of the sick. Everyone has access to the same basic coverage through national insurance funds, to which every employer and employee contributes. The government picks up the tab for the unemployed who cannot gain coverage through a family member. The French Lesson In Health Care

Under the French heath care system,

Unfortunately, this proposal doesn't resemble theirs. Just because it's socialized health care doesn't mean it's all the same. Ours more closely resembles the disastrous British version.

I thought you right wingers believed that rationing of health care for the elderly was an inevitable consequence of any species of progressive health care.

You mean the limited program designed for the elderly and the impoverished with specific criteria for enrollment that is wracked with fraud and is bankrupting the budget and not universal all encompassing control of all health care in the country?

I have always wondered about Medicare and who was actually saved by it.

I have had Blue-Cross, Blue Shield since I first began working and earning my own living. If Medicare had not come into being I have to assume my Blue Cross, Blue shield would have been my primary into old age.

When Medicare came on the scene they became everyone's primary and Blue Cross Blue Shield became a sort of back up.

So in my case did Medicare save me ,or did it save Blue Cross, Blue Shield. I always figured Medicare was brought into existence by the Health Care lobby to save health care insurance companies. It surprises me that all of a sudden the health care lobby which I am sure buttered Pelosi's bread for so many years has now become such a bad thing in Nancy's eyes.

Dude, I'm rich as hell. I don't have a problem accessing good health care, because my family has a medical care financial trust worth close to $10,000,000, and growing.

I am richer, I have $50M in cash and investments, I was a SEAL and then I was a NYPD cop before I went to law school and did 1 year as a public defender before being nominated and serving on the US Circuit Court of Appeals by Bill Clinton even though I am conservative, I have arrested 3000 felons including Gary Ridgeway when on loan to Washington state, donated a kidney to an orphan, free climbed Hoover Dam, the Grand Canyon AND Mount Everest using just my right arm and a masonry hammer. I taught the Dali Lahma how to meditate properly, swam across Lake Michigan and slam dunked on Shaq during a $1,000,000 charity 1 on one game which I won. I have gotten 23 holes in one playing golf and tied Kim Jong Ill bowling when we both bowled 300 games TWICE. I won a bolw off 10 frames later but it doesn't really count, it was only for bragging rights. There is much more but I have to go, I have to perform a surgical procedure on Ted Kennedy. I actually retired several years ago from brain surgery but the family begged me for weeks.

Is there any particular reason you are quoting me for making fun of Fraud Flush?

Perhaps you meant to quote me from the OP? Not sure where you are going with this.
