I know someone who has a fridge from that era that is fixing up to sell. He's re-doing his kitchen in the 50's era and has extra stuff.

The SPOT thrift shop in St Leonard has had some cool "retro" furniture the past couple of times I have been in there. They are open 10-5 Weds-Sat and Sundays 12-5.

I have an early 60's stove I picked up FREE in Lusby from freecycle. It was pretty filthy but I cleaned it up and use it as a display piece in my store. It still worked but I removed all the asbestos (sp)wiring.

I wish they hadn't sold the one that was in the farm house.. That thing was so neat and I think a wood stove makes food taste better.
