b23, I too am a Denver fan for the game, posted here, because i thought someone posted on here they had some older Ford Bronco's. Actually looked like a waste of a vehicle worth saving to me.
At least it was one of the least desirable models.
I sacrificed on just like that in the hurricane floods of '03. Used it to rescue folks and take them off the island. It was rusty as all hell to start with....and a few days of running in 3' deep saltwater finished 'er off nicely.

Different island. We're actually smart enough to figger out how to patch a hole in a stupid wooden boat.

Sounds like a beast. Not a very common engine swap after '79 (the last year that the 460 almost "bolted in").
