Two Dead in a Motorcycle Accident in Park Hall
ST. MARY'S COUNTY - 10/10/2008
Two people are dead following a motorcycle accident in Park Hall this evening.
St. Mary's County Sheriffs and Maryland State Police responded to Willows Road and Crimson Drive near the entrance to the Hunting Creek townhome and apartment complex around 5:45 p.m.
Units arrived on the scene and were urged to use caution, due to a person lying in the roadway. Two vehicles were involved including a 2004 Yamaha R1 motorcycle and a silver four door passenger vehicle.
Two people were on the motorcycle at the time of the crash. One of those victims were pronounced dead on the scene, the other was transported to St. Mary's Hospital where they later died.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was also transported to St. Mary's Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
No word yet on what may have caused the crash or the identity of the crash victims.
