...4 wheeler, 3 way gas switch, on, off and reserve. Will only run on reserve. Switch seems to be fine, but it obviously something wrong. Gets starved on 'on' like the valve is bad, which seems obvious except it's such a simple device.

I see no fuel filter or other likely obstruction location. Any thoughts?

Hose coming into switch might be blocked. There should be two hoses coming in (one primary, one reserve), one has blockage either in the hose or at the tank.

Either that or in the tank itself. Air compressor time.
