Somebody leaked a picture of the facelift on the R1200GS. This is what my new bike should look like (except red in color). :yay:

The official release to the press is supposed to come out next week. It will supposedly have more power (105hp) and slightly different gearing as well.

Yeah, I like the new wheels too. For some reason, it makes me think about Krull...

Noticed more than an average amount of beemers on the road this week-end.. either that or it was the lack of all other make of bikes on the road this week-end.

That and Amish.. what was with the Amish this weekend?? I saw more Amish buggies on the road on Sat and Sun than I've seen in the 5 years I've lived here. Saw one almost get rearended (first by me) in LeanardTown Saturday night.. it was REAL close..

Those aren't real pictures.. where are the HID lights, and the PIAA's??

Does look like they beefed up the paralever.... and this is the third (?) year for the new engine and can-bus.. should have all the little bugs worked out.

Do you get the ON (MOA magazine)?

They've put CAN-BUS on the bike? Timing and fuel maps/map values public? Is the ECU hacked?!?!?!?!

I'm POSITIVE it's been hacked by someone.. They have instructions on how to jumper mu ECU on line to re-map to get the same performance as the Police bikes with the R259 engines.

They are doing the Salt Flats on a Turbo K1200RS.. They're shooting for 260 MPH..

Yes, not that I know of, not that I know of.

However, there are electronic modifications available, so it might be possible...

Blue is what I originally wanted and I was considering painting it. Now I won't have to :yay:
