IHMSA Events: Big Bore, Small Bore, Field Pistol and Air Rifle.
For IHMSA small bore and field pistol, the targets consist of chickens set at 25 yds, pigs set at 50 yds, turkeys set at 75 yds, and rams set at 100 yds.
For IHMSA big bore, the range to the targets is doubled.
Small bore loads are rimfire, field pistol loads are any straight-walled case ammo and big bore is just about anything else as long as it doesn't damage the targets. Almost any caliber handgun will work - bring 40 rounds.
NRA Events: Long Range Pistol and Cowboy Lever Action.
For NRA pistol cartridge cowboy lever action you will need a tube-fed lever action rifle chambered in a pistol load with a flat nose bullet.
