Ford reinvented its bestselling F-150 in 2015 by switching from steel to an all-aluminum body, but the latest update focuses more on the stuff inside of it.

To make life easier for owners who use their trucks as a mobile workspace, Ford has designed a center console that has a fold-down gear lever and an armrest that flips forward to turn into a flat surface, while lie-flat Max Recline front seats in high-end trims give them a place to take a nap.

Those will be perfect for the upcoming "Autopilot" Feature.

You can take a nice nap on your trip until the crash wakes you up! :yay:

My '78 Bronco has most of that stuff built in to it...electric motor excepted. And it has a large onboard air compressor too.. so there.

I'm running a huge Leece-Neville emergency-vehicle alternator and two 1000CCA batteries. Two inverters...one 1000W that runs my Toughbook w/ navigation systems (GPS connected of course) and all radio comms..and a 3000W to power important chit like the coffee maker and microwave.

The trailer that goes behind it has camping gear out the wazoo and also carries the water tank with solar hot water heater. It also carries tools, spare parts,. fluids (antifreeze, oils, etc).

Between the truck and trailer are enough MREs and various brands of long-term food to support 4 people for at least 2 months. First aid on board is extensive..all the way through trauma treatment w/ sutures etc.

Firearms and lots of ammo might be on board too....

Still debating on whether I should step up my game and become a prepper....
