PINELLAS COUNTY (Bay News 9) -- The monkey sightings just keep coming!
Today, St. Pete Fire Rescue confirmed getting a call from one resident who saw the macaque monkey at 54th Avenue South and 22nd Street South.
St. Pete Police nearly nabbed the monkey last night.
Animal control crews called off the search for the loose monkey cornered in a wooded area at 54th Avenue South and 27th Street South.
