Solomons Offshore Grand Prix Parking Information

As we get closer to the event more and more details are going to be coming out about the event. Here is one of the biggest items:


Parking
Please read the following information bellow about parking for the Solomons Offshore Grand Prix.

Parking in front of the boardwalk will be open to the public and we do not have control over these areas.

Parking Locations:
Solomons Volunteer Fire Department Cost $5.00 goes to the fire department
Hilton Garden Inn Overflow Parking for the Fire Department same cost
Glascock Field (next to county boat ramp also Dry Pits Location) $5.00 for VFD
Tiki Bar (field behind Tiki Bar with signs marking where to go) $5.00 for VFD

Shuttles:
There will be two shuttles running on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday from 12PM to 8PM
Sunday from 10AM to 6PM

Shuttle Pick Up/Drop Off Locations
Solomons Volunteer Fire Department also Hilton Garden Inn
Holiday Inn Solomons
Glascock Field (Dry Pits)
Gazebo located on the Boardwalk on Solomons Island
Tiki Bar

*note for pick up/drop off locations
Since the autographing signing session is from 6PM to 8PM the shuttle will pick up and drop at the corner of Solomons Island Road and Alexander St during that time.

I am going to watch it from the Conference Center on base so I don't have to deal with the Bridge and ALL that traffic. Saw in a newsletter today they are going to have special arrangements. This way it won't be an all day ordeal for us.
