Yes, that is why so many Liberals rushed to register for the Draft, and don't you know, only conservatives file for Consciencous Objector status in the Military. And all those propoganda ships running Naval blockades are filled with American Activist and Protesters, that are conservative, NOT a single one of them could possibly be a liberal. The NYT shouldn't be given the benefit of doubt for violating National Security Laws, in deference to free press 1st admendment rights, they should be prosecuted for violating those laws, which there is a darn good case that they should be.

Leavonworth, and now you post an article that Conscience clauses can kill people, presumably endorsing the concept that there should be no consideration for consience and people should be punished if they refused for reasons of conscience, well at least where aboartion is concerned.

Your all over the map, there is no descernable line of consistency in any of these stances, their is no idealogical or logical way to support the drastically different way you react to the same issue, just on different sides of the fence.

Except one possible reason, that of a partisan shill, that sacrifices any intregity to pushing the political agenda and discrediting their oppossition through cadish, intellectually dishonest tactics.
