Cool, I've been sitting here at work watching all the other related videos too. Neat seeing all the 70's stuff.

I am so very blessed
Near the beginning of the video, while he's in his car, notice the Esperanza Shopping Center in the background.

The arial shots over Pax River are cool, too. Notice the absence of The Bridge.

Good stuff.
Anyone notice the Studebaker Avanti the test pilot was driving(only produced 1963-64). Cool!

It may be original, but I'm pretty sure a Canadian company bought production rights for the Avanti and continued production for a few more years in the 70's.

Just fascinating, the multiple rocket launchers, dropping bombs at the same time, I'm sure all presented rather minor problems to the engineers but, still, to a layman, fascinating stuff!

I first drove through the main gate April 10, 1971. Still here somehow

I arrived here during the last week of 1971 to serve a 4 year tour as an aircrew systems instructor with VP-30. They left, I stayed.

They call me ... Sarcasmo
I'll have to send this to my FIL. He started at Pax back in the late 50's doing the Patuxent Partnership program out of Ryken. Spent some time working on the first gen Hawkeye TM's and TD at TPS.
