Southern Maryland Dermatology, they have offices in Prince Frederick and Leonardtown (301-475-5855). I go every 6 months for skin cancer screens and see Janet Benton. She's so thorough, she finds the tiniest moles that you wouldn't even notice. If they look at all concerning, she sends them for biopsy and if necessary, she has you come back in to have them completely removed. She's works at the Leonardtown office Weds and Thurs.
I just saw her last Tues and I'm waiting for results on my latest biopsy.

Not St Marys, but I go to Dr Berger in White Plains/Waldorf, he has removed several basil cell carcinoma's over the past 10 years or so from various parts of my body. I got very lucky last October, was a warm day and I wore shorts, he asked if there was anything on my legs I said no dont think so, he took a look anyway and spotted something on the backside of my calf just below the knee, I had forgot all about that one. He said lets get that tested and took it off. Came back melanoma, so went in had a a larger area cut out and removed and it appeared they got all of it. But they advice you to go see a cancer doctor and eye doctor.
I am very grateful to Dr Berger, that he decided to check my legs, even after I said I didnt think there was anything of interest on them. It may take sometime to get in to see him for appt. like maybe a month or more, pretty busy practice, but the wait time after you sign in is really quick.

The practice was formerly Southern Maryland Skin Specialists, now Southern Maryland Dermatology.
Dr. Hartly is ONLY in the Prince Frederick office
Dr. Triana is not full time - don't know if he splits time between the two or what. Joked with receptionist that he retired early and she didn't disagree.
Been using them for years, have no reason to not recommend the practice.
Oh, the name change was done because they merged with a practice in Annapolis / Ann Arundel Co.

i didn't like dr. verghese she had no bedside manner when i saw her and she was very snappy and not one bit polite.
I on the other hand love dr. triana and dr.hartleys office. The last time I went in i saw one of the p.a's and she was very good.

I highly recommend Janet Benton as well. She is very thorough.

In Prince Frederick...Triana and Hartley are great. In St. Mary's Dr. Ling is the senior dermatologist and who I use now. He's wonderful.
Thanks for clarifying that for the OP, as I should have. I don't know if Dr. Triana is still there at all.....not sure but I had heard that he wasn't. Haven't really verified it because I never went to him anyway.

I use to go see Dr. Berger. He is located in White Plains, Maryland. He is a great doctor. But you have to wait about a month to see him after scheduling an appointment.

She sees my son for psoriasis on his hands. Cleared it up.
