Interesting night at the all-county chorus concert

The Mary Harrison Center was filled to capacity even in the balcony. The elementary school students got through their songs with no problem. The middle school students were in their first song when this woman started screaming in the audience.
It turned out she was screaming at the person in front of her. People around her tried to quiet her down but she just got louder. The song came to an end and the conductor turned in her direction with this you got to be fuggin kidding me look on his face. She eventually started to leave but she couldn't shut up all the way up the aisle and into the lobby.
I couldn't help thinking that some poor kid on the stage was thinking to himself, " oh sh!t, that sounds like mom"
Good ol' Calvert County culture.

What a lunatic! I feel for the poor kid who's mother acted like a childish fool. I just hope nobody knows which kid the mother belongs to so that he/she doesn't have to suffer further humiliation in school. Geez, grow up lady! :smack:

That seriously pissed me off. That was my daughter's middle school performance she interrupted and held up. I was sitting in the middle when she started yelling and screaming like some ghetto crack head. I overheard someone say that she was talking on her phone and someone was trying to get her to STFU. So instead of enjoying her kid's concert and behaving like a civilized individual, she starts a ruckas. Real classy....

I like the lady who screamed "GET OUT!" and the whole crowd errupted into applause. Even better was seeing her sitting in a State Police cruiser on the way out after the concert.

Feel bad for her kids.. let's hope they don't grow up like that.

I would be completely okay with this sort of behavior being an executable offense. If you don't know not to interrupt a kids' concert with your drama, or simply can't control yourself, then I see no real reason for you to be a part of the citizenry.

OMG, that LITERALLY happened RIGHT in front of me. It was a man, wife, another woman, and a little girl. I think the little girl did something to the woman in the row in front of them. All hell broke loose! They stood up. The woman with the daughter told the woman two rows up from me not to talk to her daughter like that. I think they started swinging at each other. We were close to the wall and close to the stage. It was so embarrassing! People in the rear we yelling to be respectful. They had to be escorted out, and then there was a thunderous applause when they left. One woman stayed behind and whipped out her cell and called someone right away. When we left there was an officer taking a statement.

I honestly think the whole situation was over a little girl, who was probably like 4 or 5, who couldn't sit still, and couldn't stay quite. That, and "I'm better than you are."

Having Fun!
Take your meds. You'll feel better.

I feel just fine sweetie, but bless your heart for caring. :lmao:

I do, of course, feel obligated to point out that it is said that one of the first signs of mental illness is feeling that everyone around you is crazy. Since you've just said that half the population is crazy, you might want to keep an eye on this... just saying...

I'm taking my meds, so I am currently sane and am able to make these observations knowing that. How about you?

If you raise your kids to behave at home and in public, why would you have to take them home?
