Can You Help w/Unsolved Murder?
A reward is being offered of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible in the death of Deandre Agustus Hawkins, age 20, of Lexington Park.
On August 24, 2011 at 11:38 p.m., police units responded to the area of Sell Drive in Lexington Park (a mobile home park adjacent to Great Mills Rd. and St. Mary's Square shopping area) for the report of a motor vehicle accident. Upon police arrival it was determined the operator of the vehicle, Deandre Agustus Hawkins, had a gunshot wound in his upper torso. Hawkins was transported to St. Mary's Hospital where he was pronounced deceased as a result of the gunshot wound.
The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations is continuing an investigation into this incident.
