The Center for Children is hosting its 4th Annual Touch A Truck Festival on Saturday, April 28 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. The event will be held at the Regency Furniture/Blue Crabs Stadium in conjunction with the Blue Crabs home opening weekend. Admission is $7 for adults and $3 for children over one. All Touch A Truck ticket holders will be given free lawn ticket passes for the Blue Crabs game for the evening of April 28th.
Touch A Truck is a unique family-oriented event featuring cars, trucks and other vehicles that children are allowed to touch, climb-on, take pictures alongside, and explore. A variety of trucks and service vehicles will be on display for children of all ages to explore and enjoy. There will be food, games and entertainment as well. The experience will include a police helicopter, construction vehicles, emergency equipment and so much more! Last year we welcomed nearly 3,000 visitors and expect even more to come through the gates this year.
The Center for Children is a private, non-profit organization that prevents and treats child abuse and promotes positive mental health through crisis intervention, therapy, education and advocacy. The programs have made a difference to more than 50,000 children and families since the Center's inception in 1989. The Center touches the lives of nearly 4,500 annually through our 14 programs and services.
Come out on April 28th to have fun while supporting so many children and families in need in the Southern Maryland region.
