I don't get it, you would think that Hispanic voters, meaning legal citizens of this country, would be all for stopping the flow of illegals.
I know that if I legally became a citizen of Japan or some other non English speaking country, and I was doing ok there, but then other Americans started sneaking in illegally. I would be pissed.
For one thing, I would wonder what makes them so special as to allow them to just bypass all the BS I went through to establish myself legally. Another thing is that as the number of illegal Americans slipped in increased, I would find myself in a position to explain my legal status, I would be looked at differently and treated differently by those that did not personally know me.
As a legal immigrant, I would be upset with those illegals that were damaging my legal lifestyle. And I would vote to make them go back and start again legally, just like I did.
So, unless those Hispanics that are supposed to make an impact at the polls are illegal, I really don't think there is as much a concern as the dems want to make it appear to be.
I look at it just like the guy that flies up the shoulder of the road past all the waiting traffic, then at the last second thinks you should let him in front of you. Sorry, I waited in the traffic to get here, Im not letting you in unless you have an emergency vehicle.

They are, for the most part, leaving them no place to turn with either major party. However, the Dems aren't nasty about it. Some right wingers sometimes are. Given the choice between supporting a party that is all for illegal immigration and is nice about it or one that is all for illegal immigration in action and is sometimes nasty about it in words, who do they choose?
This is just another issue the GOP lost the last 12 years, Wall Street, the wars, housing, healthcare, energy, other entitlements, by saying one thing and doing another. Once again, at least the left is principled about it.
Im afraid I dont agree.
By nice do you mean that we should find a way to make the illegals legal?
That is not an answer to me. And I am not nice when I speak about any other criminals either.
This just goes to show the type of person Mitt is. If he is flip-flopping already, just wait.....
