Causing to Stumble

My oh my the commentaries on these verses are extremely vague and in some cases really dark. I have to say I just don't agree with them again. As a matter of fact, some even seem to be intention double talk to distract the readers.
Remember what Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount [Matthew 5:13]? We are the salt of the earth. We make it better. A little salt on that steak makes a lot of difference. A lot of salt can preserve foods. We are the salt of the earth.
First there was the Transfiguration. The disciples just didn't understand this "rising from the dead" stuff. Then there was the healing of a young boy and the disciples learned that "sometimes it requires prayer". Then there was the man casting out demons in Jesus name and Jesus told them "whoever is not against us is for us".
I think these verses are a continuation of the verses before it. Sometimes it's hard to divide a book like this into chapters and verses. I think He's saying as the Good News spreads, we only need to make sure it keeps its full flavor.
Ever played a game called "telephone". The original word can get really distorted. Sometimes the meaning of the Good News can be really distorted too when people take chapter and verse out of context. I think some of the writers of the commentaries have been playing telephone....
We need to share our faith. It's the only thing that keeps it fresh and true.
