The chicklet would like to get back in the saddle after some time off. We're new to the horse scene in SOMD. Any suggestions as to who the "go to" equestrian places are in the St. Mary's County area? We'd like to find somewhere in the Hollywood/Leonardtown area.

Is one considered better for beginning riders? Does anyone here in the boards have a personal experience with either?

My girls go to AMIT. I've worked with Bobby for years (rode there myself). The farm is a bit...swampy when it rains, and overrun by scrub. You learn that it's part of the charm But the horses are well fed and cared for, and I've never been to a place that has such a wide variety of ponies/horses for all levels of riders. And the prices are reasonable.
