If you live in CRE, there are 3 bay front beaches and at least one lake. In CRE, your SUPPOSED to have a beach pass to use those beaches, and you have to be a resident to get one of those, but I have never heard of anybody getting kicked off for not having a sticker on their windshield.

CRE 5-oh is too busy chasing down the more serious criminals...those with dogs that like to swim on these hot days.

Under the solomons bridge their is a public boat launch and fishing pier, but no beach.

Point Lookout has some pretty nice beaches, although it is a little drive to get down their....'bout 45 minutes from Lusby.

Not sure if Drum point has any beaches that are a little more public or not.

But the base beach has a pretty nice beach too, if you have base access.

There is a small beach at Solomons across from Our Lady Star of the Sea next to the boat rental place. There is also Elms Beach, south of the base and a small beach at Greenwell State Park in Hollywood. If you have access to Solomons Annex, there is a nice beach there as well.

Not, in Calvert but in St. Mary's, at the end of Beachville Road there is a boat ramp with a small sand/beach strip on either side of the launch that is never crowded.
