Charlotte Hall Southern States on Fire?

Parking lot and shoulder of southbound Rt. 5 was full of fire trucks at 4:30.

Front part of the place is gutted, back warehouse looks to be OK.

Updated: Electrical fire damages Southern States store - Southern Maryland News

Investigators determined the fire originated in the attic as a result of an electrical fire involving the HVAC system. Damages to the structure and contents is estimated at $1,000,000. No injuries were reported during the incident.

The warehouse was not affected by the fire during the incident.

Does anyone know if they're back up and operational? I've tried calling this morning and get nothing but a busy signal. I was hoping to get some pellets delivered

They were open when I went last Thursday but they were doing business in the parking lot. I see some doors on the side now so not sure if you can actually go inside.

Yes, I called and they finally answered the phone. They and everyone else is apparently out of pellets.
