I really don't get why a food is considered racist. I think it's more of a regional thing. Fried chicken and grits and watermelon seems Southern, not just Black. And tacos came from Mexico, not just Mexican people. Why be offended? White people like all kinds of food, too.

A guy at work pulled out a pack of gum and offered everyone a piece, I said "sure, thanks". He is black and it was watermelon flavored Trident, I asked if he had "fried chicken flavored" instead. He called me a F'n Ahole cracker and then we went to lunch....
