Not sure about this, but I am mostly in favor of it.
Sure !! a baby contest at the county fair is one thing, but the way some mothers go into this thing is crazed.

Dressing kids up to look sexy and drilling them for hours on their presentation, and is it really for the kids or for the mother.

Like anything else I suppose some people just carry it too far. Look at poor Jon Bonet Ramsey and her case. We still don't know who killed her or what else was involved.

Its not regulated enough and to me it a borders a solid form of child abuse. Our country needs to take a hard look at this blemish. Less makeup, more little girl like dresses not hooker attire and in child talent portion... not Gypsy Rose Lee Madonna skits. Changing rules on some of these would be a start. The hair? Don't even get me started on the hair.

They are little girls not women.

...and this apple I'm sure didn't fall far from the issue. I've thought of the possibility that sickos probably use the legal pageant pics as fodder, since the JonBenet incident took place. Dressing little girls as women and flaunting them has to draw a crowd. *shakes head*.
