Crazy guy rams Truck into Baltimore TV station

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Police are searching for a seemingly disturbed man who crashed a large truck into the lobby of Baltimore television station WMAR Tuesday morning.

The man, who may be armed, initially tried to gain entry to the station while screaming “let me in” and that he was God, according to WMAR reporter Brian Kuebler. When he was denied access, the man got into a landscaping truck and rammed the lobby at least three times.

Someone inside the building first called 911 at 11:45 a.m. to report the man’s bizarre behavior, according to Baltimore County Police. Within minutes a second call was placed to report that a truck had crashed into the lobby.

Nobody saw a gun. No shots were fired. Nobody says he showed a gun. He's God and doesn't need a gun. So why does the headline and the initial report say he's possibly armed. Oh, wait. This is Baltimore. Nevermind.

You know, it just occurred to me that this is a major breakthrough! Besides him busting down the lobby wall, that is.

Who knew G_d was black!? You can tell G_d was black, because the article failed to mention G_d's ethnicity.

Actually, I know it's funny, but it was a scary situation. Imagine that happening on your job. Kudos to Jamie Costello and the professionalism he showed on the air when this frightening incident was occuring. And kudos to the security guard and her work. I know that working in the media generates it's on fair share of "nuts" and the security guards have to deal with a lot.
