4th trip; about 300 more pounds of food. A question was asked when I posted this on Facebook about whether I have contacted the county commissioners regarding the shelter not having enough food to feed the animals. My answer was no but the person that questioned me had a good point! I should contact the current Calvert commissioners and request the budget be increased. Better yet, I think Calvert should be able to build and support it's own shelter.
If you live in Calvert, please consider voting Linda Kelley, commissioner at large, back in. In my opinion, she has been the only commissioner that has been the voice of the animals and made a lot of changes regarding TCAS.
