Police Kill a Man With Wal-Mart BB Gun That He Might Have Intended to Buy

A fellow Wal-Mart shopper dialed 911 and told the dispatcher that Crawford had a gun, was attempting to load the gun, and pointed it at two children.

Crawfords girlfriend LeeCee Johnson who is currently pregnant with their third child, claims she was on the phone with him when he was shot. She states she heard Crawford yell “it’s not real,” then shots rang out. Johnson stated she then heard police yelling “get on the ground,” but claims this occurred after the shots. She then recalls hearing Crawford “crying and screaming.”

Look, it was just a few weeks ago that that ####ing piece of #### was walking around some store, casually, with a baseball bat and hit that woman. This is what happens when we no longer have the right to defend ourselves; some people start freaking out and feel easily scared. Very natural and normal. If we were a free people, able to keep and bear arms, this sort of thing is, at the very least, tempered with the sense of empowerment that comes from knowing you at least have a chance.

But, we're taught to fear what COULD happen and we no longer base much of anything on behavior.

Hold on.... they might have a case. Unlike any other teen ever shot by the police, this one looks legit...... look what his Moms has to say........

"Brown's mother told local TV broadcaster KSDK that her son was a "good child getting ready to go to college" and that he was visiting his grandmother when the incident took place."

So he would never have fought with the officer for the gun. Grandmother, did you catch that?

Larry, that's how we "lost" the right to defend ourselves: people freaked out and got easily scared, then demanded that the general public be disarmed. They didn't take into consideration that criminals wouldn't obey the law, but what can you expect - they're stupid.

I would love to see the video, which you know they have. Every square inch of any Walmart has a camera on it.

“The officers gave verbal commands to the subject to drop the weapon,” Evers said in a statement. “The subject … was shot after failing to comply with the officers’ commands. The quick response of officers was instrumental in containing this situation and minimizing the risk to customers.
