The CIP thread got me thinking, what're your favorite restaurants here in SOMD? I'm only familiar with the Pax part of SOMD.

Do you have particular favorite dishes at certain places?

Hands down, my favorite restaurant to eat at is Tearrific. I love the bubble tea.

A close second would be Thai Inter - I also love love love that they deliver.

CD cafe is usually a good to great meal.
pretty much everywhere else is mediocre to fair.

Repete
CD Cafe - Great place too small.
Back Creek Bistro - SOMD's best kept secret that should not be a secret
Jerry's - Great place that is small as well

Ruddy Duck - Always a good choice
Niko's - Good eats

Five Guys - Good burger joint, no frills
Texas Road House - Casual steak, kinda loud

Day's off grill - Great food, pricey for a sub shop

The best restaurant I ate at so far down in SOMD is Stoney’s Kingfishers Seafood House over in Solomon's, nice to have a view of the water too. Been their with big groups and small groups, never heard one person complain. Don't like the already included gratuity though. I think that should be earned IMO.

Oh, I'm so dumb for not having this in my original post!

Adam's Ribs in Price Frederick catered my wedding with a pig, crab cakes, and a bunch of sides - holy crap did they do a fantastic job!! It was perfect so I'm a lifelong supporter of that place!

Ruddy Duck also has an appetizer from heaven that's four little bread puffballs filled with cheese.

Jerry's is Jerry's place in Prince Frederick, very good seafood restaurant, the little cheesebreads are the chipas.

happy to be living
I had not about heard Back Creek Bistro closing. I hope not- outstanding food and service.
Love the CD Café, too.
And The Lotus Kitchen on Solomons Island. They are not fancy but they cook a lot of meals using artichokes, unusual cheeses, fresh veggies, cous-cous and other ingredients that are not commonly found in food establishments around here. I also understand they will be opening at a second location in Leonardtown in a sports type bar that is opening soon. The name escapes me at the moment...

Yep Blue wind crab cake sandwich on ciabatta bread, for about $11 and change, side salad or chips/w 1/4 pickle.

I paid the about the same price at Captain Pats ONE time, bread was plain and cheap, crab cake was smaller/w chips, 1/4 pickle slice, was really disappointed.
