I'm thinking about heavying up my service at my house. I would like to know about what it costs and any reccomendations for electricians to do it . I'm in Calvert.

Friend of mine had SMECO trench and install the line. I think it was about $1,200 or so for (guesstimate) about 150-200'.

Granted, that wasn't a heavy up and his buddy pulled the permit for the new/relocated panel.

Are you going from 100 to 200A?

that seems awful low, when i remolded i asked about having them bury my service line (only about 30 feet) and was quoted close to 2K. I decided i could live with the overhead service. But who knows

I think i used ryce(maybe rice) electric, they were good and resonable

It may have been because his neighbor was getting work done at the same time, but I'm not positive. I know SMECO's charge didn't seem too bad.
