I sat ringside at a boxing match at an Atlantic City casino. I didn't know it at the time I sat down but I sat right across from the ESPN camera. Ernie Singletary & Mike Picciotti were the featured fighters. 1 of the undercard boxers, Anthony "2 Guns" Fletcher, is in prison for murder. Ironic that someone nicknamed 2 guns would actually be convicted of a firearm murder.

No, but a guy in the parking lot in Annapolis today insisted he's seen me on TV. He was 100% sure he had. It was my mustache, he said.

Several times - once @ Florida Field 1987with the limpid gators playing the semenholers from FSU - halftime Jim Lampley was grilling some gator meat on the wall, and we were two rows up and on TV for about 20 seconds. Second time was at a local school board hearing that made the local news, voicing my opinion.

That is all.

There was a mattress store on 235 in Lexington Park (long gone now) that had a film crew on site to make a TV commercial. When I walked in to buy a mattress, I was the only actual customer in the store...and they talked me in to being in the commercial.

Took years to live that fax paus down. Like most el-cheapo "Channel 10" local commercials, it was bad and it ran for years and gave friends and co-workers all sorts of time to make jokes about my inadvertent "stardom".

I used to always try to get the client to be in their own commercial or do their own BB segment because everybody in St. Mary's County would tell them they saw them on TV and they'd get direct feedback from their advertising.

Oh, and yes, I've been on TV many many times. :jet:
