Or has the retro '50's decorating style been done to death?
Crate & Barrel, Pier 1, or any number of companies are selling this style of furniture, dishes, Christmas tree decorations.
I don't personally know anyone with this type of decor, so who's buying it? I've spent numerous hours over the past couple of years trying to find things like Christmas decorations that don't look like they came off the set of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, or the Jetsons.

Dang, I was going to direct you to "The Christmas Goose" on the Eastern Shore and where I got the flamingo ornament I got you several years ago but found out they shut down in 2012. :-/

I think that was when flamingo yard flocking in the dead of the night was all the rage, NOT getting her flamingo ornaments. And I'm not dead yet.
