Oh there are places marked you should not stop. Also marked launch sites to trigger them and places that say" unexploaded ordinance".

My husband lived in CO for 12 years, and wants to retire there. I know I would love it, but it is just too far from family. I always show him dr's posts and pics. He is jealous!

Did TDY in Colorado and absolutely loved it. Mainly around Colorado Springs, but got a lot of exploring done. Remember going to Cripple Creek on back country roads long before they had a casino there. Loved the whole area.
