Scam Alert!!! Within less than a month of going to closing on our new home we received a form letter from RECORD TRANSFER SERVICES giving us a deadline date to pay $63 to receive a copy of our current grant deed and property assessment profile. This is a total scam and the Better Business Bureau has a list of several successful lawsuits from different states that charged the company with fraud. The operate under several different names and the BBB provides a list of many of those names. Here is the link to a copy of the letter obtained online.
