So my friends and I are walking around DC yesterday, and one of them just kind of blurts out, "Your bullets cannot hurt me! My wings are like a shield of steel!"

I recognized the phrase immediately, but couldn't remember the character. I finally remembered... Batfink! and his trusty companion Karate!

Made me think of all of the stupid, mindless, totally worthless cartoons that kept us entertained for hours. We need more of these again!!!

My husband LOVED Fairly OddParents. Cracked me up every time he would sit there with our kiddos. Something about Cosmo. LOL

Quick Draw McGaw, Yogi and BooBoo remember the Beatles cartoon???? Wacky Races...Little LuLu Clutch Cargo and his pal Paddlefoot...(they had the human mouths added to the animation)....

I do not watch cartoons. I'm sure I watched them as a small child, although my mom said I was not the sit down to watch tv type too often. I spent most of my elementary school & middle school ages overseas,('67-'72) and we didn't have a TV. I didn't watch TV at all unless I saw it at someone else's house, and we didn't sit around watching TV.

I also dislike *most* animated movies.

Any of the old Looney Tunes regulars. Bugs, Daffy, Sylvester, Tweety, Elmer, Yosemite Sam, Foghorn Leghorn, Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote, ect. Especially before they got all politically correct.
