Ladies - A Friendly Reminder Concerning Today's Signifigance ........

Low and behold, the day is upon us. Not only is this a memorable date for all math geeks ("Pi Day"), today also marks a significant milestone in the advancement of equal rights for all men alike. Yes, that is correct, today is the officially recognized "holiday" that is referred to as "Steak and BJ Day".

And consider this a courtesy reminder to all the ladies to not take this date in jest. This date serves to let men know they are loved. That they are cared about and that they are appreciated. Far too many holidays have become "Hallmark" in nature and many more are simply opportunities for men to shower others with their gratitude. Do you think men really like flowers or candy on Valentines Day? Do men typically get anything on Valentine's Day? Do you really think they need another tie or wallet under the tree at Christmas? Of course, we all appreciate these things but they do not cater to our inner-beings. These gifts do not fully embrace what it is to be man.

Now, we know that it is basically financially impractical and unnecessary to go by us a new TV each year (of course, always being bigger than the year before) to show us your appreciation. And heck, we understand how allowing us a booze filled weekend getaway with our drinking buddies doesn't quite support the intent of "togetherness" that this day is intended to promote.

Therefore, this day is set aside to recognize the man in your life for all his hard work with the two things that always bring a smile to his face. Always. A big ole juicy steak and well .......... you get the point, And if you want to add that nice special touch ...... you can always compliment both gifts of appreciation with a nice cold beer. That way you both have a drink handy to wash everything down. :buttkiss::roflmao:
