The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office, in partnership with local rescue squads and fire departments, will host a scenario-based training exercise at Great Mills High School, on Saturday, June 25 from 8:00 a.m. until approximately 11:00 a.m. During the training scenario, all eastbound lanes of Great Mills Road will be shut down from Chancellors Run Road to Tower Lane (See attached map).
The drill is not open to the public; however, the public should expect an abundance of law enforcement, Fire, EMS personnel and related equipment around the Great Mills High School and Carver Elementary School campuses.
