Well, for me anyway. Bright moonlight streaming in the SW facing window while lightning flashes in the NW window. Very interesting....

I heard rolling thunder around that time but refused to open my eyes to see if it was lightning for fear of not being able to fall back asleep. :lol:

The moon was bright and thinly cloud-veiled when I looked; I guess it was about 10:30/11:00. Would have made a neat pic.

I did. The lighting show was fantastic! I hoped that it would roll in a little closer to increase the awe of the event, but it went the other way. The full moon was beautiful as well.

The lightening show was awesome! We thought it was heat lightening, but then we got a pretty good rain out of it; much needed. My plants were turning yellow. Mother Nature at her best!

Edit: There is no 'e' in lightning. :doh:
