Conway: Nobody will lose coverage under ObamaCare replacement

Ubi bene ibi patria
" Kellyanne Conway, a top adviser to President-elect Donald Trump, said Tuesday that the incoming administration plans to have no one currently on ObamaCare coverage become uninsured under a replacement.

“If Americans have healthcare today under the Affordable Care Act, will they have healthcare — it sounds like Donald Trump is saying they will have healthcare under whatever replaces it?” host Joe Scarborough asked Conway on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

“That is correct, we don’t want anyone who currently has insurance to not have insurance,” Conway replied. “Also we are very aware that the public likes coverage for preexisting conditions. There are some pieces of merit in the current plan.” "

All he has to do is open up medicare to all and then open up the market to providers to compete and get costs under market forces.

Or, open up the market to all, shut down state border restrictions, provide the same tax incentives to individuals that are provided to businesses, and voila - actual affordable health care. Without the government having to take a single cent from person A to give to persons B and C (the government worker who serves as intermediary, and the welfare recipient) to make it affordable.

It is beyond me how you can say; "...provide the same tax incentives..." in an argument that ends with; "Without the government having to take a single cent from person A to give to persons B and C (the government worker who serves as intermediary, and the welfare recipient) to make it affordable' By definition, if there is a tax incentive, it's government taking from A to B.

Sounds an awful lot like "if you like your insurance you can keep it!! If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor!" doesn't it??

Wouldn't it be great if the Republicans can return the favor!??

I hope they're lying and when millions lose their health care they just say, Obama and the Dems lied to us, now we're lying to you.....

So what's the problem?

By definition, if there is a tax incentive, it's government taking from A to B.

Absolutely not.

If I take money from you by attaching your wages, or I take LESS money from you, one results in YOU losing money, and one results in THE GOVERNMENT losing money.

Now, it does require that the government not spend money it does not have, or at least reduce that, but that's not really the question here.
