You’ve got to give credit to Adrian Solano for being a dreamer.

Being from Venezuela, he’s not all that familiar with snow, but he made up his mind that he wanted to be a cross-country skier. So, he trained on wheels and was able to score a spot in the qualifying round in Lahti 2017 to represent his home country.

Unfortunately for Solano, he discovered that skiing on snow is different than skiing on wheels. Much different.

It maybe because he hasn't eaten in three days as people in Venezuela are apt to do, because there is no food thanks to their wonderful Socialist government....
