Awesome news. Was getting concerned for a bit there...he appeared to be waffling on his promise to get us out of that mess.

The only other countries not participating are Syria and Nicaragua. Just who we want to be compared to.

It's a desperate stab to please his rich industrial buddies.

Are the other "participating" countries following?

Given that we know there are serious flaws to the concept of man-made or even mankind-assisted global warming, and that the results of the accord are likely to reduce the potential for "warming" by something like 0.00001 degrees over 100 years, and the climate models have been universally significantly inaccurate, and the economic costs of being in the accord are astonishingly large, and there are no legal requirements to follow the "requirements".....why would we choose to be in it?

Yes awesome news!

The US withdraws even further from the world stage and US companies are put at another disadvantage! AWESOME!!! China, Russia and Saudi Arabia will fill our shoes quickly, readily and with ease. AWESOME!!!

This along with the rather dumb TPP withdrawal and the constant berating of our allies makes ones (or should make one) wonder how Mr. Trump's actions align with his "Make America Great Again" slogan???

The entire world is laughing at Trump and taking advantage of our rapidly decreasing presence on the world stage. How does that saying go??? Oh yeah...you get the govt you voted for.

Because we used to be the world leaders on issues like this.

We need to be moving forward on renewable energy and not backward on coal.

Yes there are no legal requirements but it is about being a good neighbor and operating in good faith with over 200 world countries.

No matter what you think of climate change it's not hard to realize even if we aren't having an impact now eventually we will and we should do what we can to curb it. The only people who don't believe in man assisted climate change at this point are religious nut cases and businesses with an economic incentive to think otherwise.

:lmao:

The presence of the US increases every time we are dis-associated from nonsensical, flawed scientific agreements like this one that only damages the producers of the world.

Have you been to Syria or Nicaragua? If not you should visit if you think those are places we should be emulating.

Why do you want to be stuck in the past while the rest of the world ( over 200 countries) make plans for the future to leave us behind.

Do you remember code red days, smog, acid rain , the hole in the ozone layer. ? They didn't just magically go away. It was a concerted effort.

I just saw a statement straight from Trump the he will announce his decision soon. I see now that the article linked in OP says the same. Conclusion in OP subject line is therefore...inaccurate.

The ONLY argument for staying in that flawed and economically dangerous agreement being put forward by the lefties and AGW cultists is "because everyone else is".

LMAO. I remember what my ole pappy would say if I tried to use that lame argument on him.
