The media has portrayed antifa as a "love group" that combats "hate groups". They are heroes, all about inclusivity and diversity and all those other itys. In fact, they are a terrorist anarchist group whose only goal is to destroy and cause chaos, but to the low information voter they are freedom fighters.
So if the DoJ goes after them for domestic terrorism, which it should, the media will be screaming their fool heads off that Trump is using the DoJ to destroy his political enemies. And it doesn't even matter if it's a lie, the progs are like brain eating zombies and they will believe it, just like they believe every other implausible scenario the Leftists fill their little mush heads with.
