On Tuesday, WKRG in Alabama reported that a robocall seeking damaging information about Judge Roy Moore was made to Pastor Al Moore in Creola by a person purporting to be a reporter from The Washington Post.

The message stated:

Hi, this is Bernie Bernstein, I’m a reporter for the Washington Post calling to find out if anyone at this address is a female between the ages of 54 to 57 years old willing to make damaging remarks about candidate Roy Moore for a reward of between $5000 and $7000 dollars. We will not be fully investigating these claims however we will make a written report. I can be reached by email at albernstein@washingtonpost.com, thank you.

Right. If there was a robo-call at all, it was almost certainly a false flag intended to provide support that the allegations against him are made up (they might well be made up, but that is besides the point).

Not even Alabama Democrats are dumb enough to think a robo-call in that district would go unnoticed by Judge Moore supporters.
