This is old. It's since been resolved as just bs brought on by some leftist wacko.

Yes, been news for a while. Not resolved. The search warrant is new.
The OP link contained the application for a warrant, signed by the judge in March. The judge just signed the return of the warrant Dec 28, identifying what was seized by the government.

Dan Black should have had his arse handed to him. He got off easy.
How so? If the accounting of the events that are spelled out in the affidavit are essentially correct, it looks like Dan Black has a legitimate complaint. Of course if the substance of the email/messages are true then that only shows there was intent to specifically target him and make an example out of him, which appears out of the scope of the legal authority. Of course the incident happened outside of the Milwaukee jurisdiction and the sheriff wasn't acting in any official capacity, so how is it the business of the Milwaukee County sheriff's department?

Dan Black should have never decided to accost Clarke in the first place. Being a douche should hurt.

Should Clarke have shown a thicker skin and just blown it off?...yeah...probably so.

Nothing will come out of the whole thing so it's just a minor sideshow that entertains some.

There was no accost.

What would you call it, sport? As a professional douche yourself, your opinion is certainly valid.

Federal investigators looked into the matter but declined to file federal civil rights charges against Clarke,

"Brief verbal exchange", according to some accounts. Sounds about right. ;-)

According to some accounts... The only account that matters is that which is in the sworn affidavit. And that's not an accost.
