CSN is now NBC Sports. No change in the way the games are televised, just the name. This all happened in October.

Yes i realize this but as of Jan 4th, it's no longer on the cable lineup...Used to be on 725 or 726.

According to this, it's the same channels. You said they decided to stop carrying CSN, but that's not the case. There is no CSN.

Not sure if you get Metrocast but the channels HAVE changed since Jan 4th. There is no NBC Sports Washington (formerly CSN) . It is now ESPNU...

Yeah. Went to their Facebook page, and I guess you are SOL... I'd be pissed. You could always stream the games from NBC Sports online.

Not surprised. When ESPN jacks their fees, expect to see either an increase in what you pay, or a premium "sports package".
It's not to much different with satellite. Age old battle between content providers and the distributors.
Content providers don't have to deal with the wrath of the consumer. The cable or satellite provider gets to pass along the news that the cost is going up.
