Dems Think 800,000 Illegal Immigrants Are Worth Forcing Active Military To Go Without Pay

Democrats are threatening to hold national security hostage, potentially costing the economy billions and forcing hundreds of thousands of federal government employees to go without pay in exchange for securing legal protections for 800,000 illegal immigrants.

Congress has three days to strike a deal to keep the government funded through October. If members fail to come to an agreement by Jan. 19, all “non-essential” government employees and active U.S. Military personnel will be working with out pay (including troops currently deployed). Funding for agencies like federal museums or national parks will also be cut off.

Others within the Democratic caucus are more blunt as to what they are asking of Republican leadership, like Rep. Joseph Crowley of New York, the chairman of the House Democratic Caucus.

“If they need Democratic votes, the overall legislation needs to meet certain Democratic criteria and be reflective of the values of the Democratic caucus and what we believe are the values of the American people,” Crowley said Monday, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey said Tuesday that he will vote against any budget resolution that does not include protections for DREAMers.

CITIZENS should be on the news channels 24 x7 screaming about the stupidity of this and the ignorance of cultists like you.

IT TAKES BOTH SIDES TO CREATE AN IMPASSE.

This deal actually is easy, this deal is clear to see...but the Rs have to pander to the like of you and those on here and the Ds have to pander to the likes of Starman and Michael Moore. So, once again, we have a manufactured crisis that will be "miraculously" avoided at the last minute.

why are the damn Democrats always worried about everybody except the US citizens?????

Because the American Citizen isn't their concern.

They're only worried about themselves.

I think you're a bit off topic. Democrats are DEMANDING (the party in the minority DEMANDING!) a "clean" DACA bill, then move on to "comprehensive" immigration. Only then will they agree to a budget deal. And they are willing to affect the financial well-being of our military. Democrats are holding this process hostage. It's all or nothing with them. Republicans have offered a reasonable deal in dealing with DACA, immigration reform, the border, and the budget, democrats are predictably rejecting it all so they can have their DACA.

Think about it... republicans were largely against DACA. Trump originally wanted to deport these people. Trump and republicans have made a reasonable shift in their thinking that meets democrats in the middle by accepting a DACA deal. Republicans have met democrats in the middle on DACA, but democrats refuse to do the same on the other issues.

1. A Real Budget not a CR
2. Border Wall
3. Immigration Reform
4. if not addressed by #3 DACA Resolution [preferably termination of Obama's Extra Constitutional Rules]

NO one believes any of that. Probably not even you.

Everyone knows who controls the house and senate. Public opinion polls show the public would place the blame squarely on Republicans and Trump.

Only fools would place the blame on Republicans after listening to that kinky haired a-hole Schumer.
