The Newtowne Players are looking for up to four men and four women with exceptional singing and dance skills, to perform in this year's production of
"A Night on Broadway: Sight, Sound and Song 2018"
Open performances for the show are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 11 to 20 May 2018. There will be a performance on Thursday, 10 May for Sponsors Night.
Audition details are as follows:
Location: The Three Notch Theatre
Date: Saturday, 3 Feb 2018
Time: 10 AM till 1 PM
Date: Monday, 5 Feb, 2018
Time: 6:30 PM
Call Backs: Wednesday, 7 Feb at 6: 30 PM
PLEASE NOTE: EVERYONE MUST ARRIVE WITHIN TEN MINUTES OF THE AUDITION START TIMES
Auditions will consist of a demonstration of your dance and singing ability as a solo and in a duet& ensemble.

Women should be prepared to sing one of the following songs solo:
A) "People" - from "Funny Girl" - B flat major
B) "Ain't Misbehavin'" - from "Ain't Misbehavin'" - E flat major
C) "Summertime" - from "Porgy and Bess" - A minor
Men should be prepared to sing one of the following songs solo:
A) "On the Street Where You Live" - from "My Fair Lady" - C major
B) "All I Need is the Girl" - from "Gypsy" - B flat major
C) "Maria" - from "West Side Story" - G major
D) "Those Magic Changes" - from "Grease" - C major
Dance, duets and ensemble numbers will be assigned at the audition.
