Two Corinthians

Listening to AFR at lunch time today, Senior Pastor Alistair Begg of Cleveland's Parkside Church, said TWO Corinthians. So, The Don isn't the only one who says it that way.

It's still weird. It's like when people quote Psalms as Psalms, Chapter 23, verse 1.
It's a song book. People who use it say, the 23rd Psalm.
I've never heard I,II & III John etc as anything but first, second and third John.
Ditto Peter and Thessalonians.

I never heard it before today, but it makes since with the way language changes. I just thought it was interesting, since saying it that way obviously makes you a Christian "fraud".
