Oh. Back in the 1940's old man? Society is a bit different now with unhinged 13 year olds able to walk in and buy a gun. Some of us just want more restrictions in buying and not trying to take your precious gun collection away.

How so? And why do you think so? How many of the mass shootings in the US were committed by someone under 21 years of age?
Mail order firearm sales were very common in the 1960s. My first semi-automatic rifle - 10th birthday present - probably came in the mail; our farm was a long way from any town with a gun shop.
Detail when a 13 yr old shot up a school ?
13 yr old's are already prohibited from purchasing Firearms ... what 'common sense' law do you propose

This is bull####. In Virginia you must be 18+ to purchase a firearm of any type, even from a private seller. If that dealer sold a 13 year old kid a gun or rifle, he broke the law and needs to be arrested.

Ask whoever put the video together, but it is NOT legal in the state of Virginia to purchase a firearm at age 13, even from a private seller.
Since that hit piece was filmed in what appears to be rural Virginia, any 13-yo kid in those parts would already have access to a cabinet full of rifles in most households. Oddly enough though...its only deer and squirrels getting shot at.

I grew up with a huge gun cabinet in the living room, there was death from a thousand cuts if any of us went in that cabinet and it wasn't from any of my fathers firearms that were sleeping in it. None of my fathers kids shot up Walter Johnson HS..
Come to think of it, my son had and has full access to really scary black or gray firearms and he never shot up cowpie high....

We should be glad he didn't buy a AR15 with a shrike kit.... It is laughable that he couldn't buy smokes and beer... That kid ain't got no game... Maybe he needs to play more Grand Theft Auto....

Given CNN's record of making crap up, I think we'll find later on that either the seller was in on the whole thing, or the kid used fake ID to buy the gun. It was so edited that it's impossible to know what happened in the part where the seller is explaining the gun to the kid and the kid walking away from the table.

Yea, about this. This was the only link I opened. Did you happen to notice the article has 3 distinct dates? Banner is Jan 27, 2018, byline is Feb 28, 2012 and story opens with "On this day, Feb 29 in 2000" Kinda throws your whole agenda into BS land.
